Type:   Electronic Journals
URL:   http://www.lse.ac.uk/Depts/intrel/millenn/
Description:   Millennium has a world-wide circulation and is not only one of the pre-eminent British journals in the field of International Relations, but also enjoys wide recognition abroad. One of the few academic journals edited and published completely by postgraduate students, it maintains a high professional standard and a reputation for publishing innovative work by both young scholars as well as by established figures in the field. Now in its thirty-first year, Millennium is published tri-yearly. Traditionally, one issue per year is devoted to a specific theme, with the most recent Special Issue entitled 'Religions and International Relations'. Among the topics on which previous Special Issues have focused are: Nationalism, Women and International Relations, The Philosophical Traditions of International Relations, Global Environmental Change and International Relations, War Endings, Ethics and International Relations, Gender and International Relations, and Territoriality, Identity, and Movement in International Relations. Millennium is ideal for any student preparing for examinations or looking for a way to sharpen critical skills, gain organisational experience, or keep up-to-date with the latest research in International Relations. Weekly Editorial Board meetings involve students in lively discussion and debate.
